Limitations
You might expect the conversion tracking to be 100% accurate. Unfortunately this is impossible due to technical limitations. Let's discuss below what is possible and and perhaps more importantly what is not.
1. Your integration
We are completely dependent on your integration. Unlike the integration of the Online Sizing we can hardly check if there are issues with the code you have implemented. This means you bear a major part of the responsibility to produce valid and usefull results.
2. Browser configuration
Since we are using the browsers local storage to store our sizing results from the widget we might face some issues with some browsers incognito mode or other tools, which might block this access. Although we do our best to avoid these cases, there will never be complete certainty and the result will differ by a few percent from the true value.
3. Device change
There will be users, which use our size recommendation on one device and buy your product on a different one. For example size their desired bike on their phone and buy it a couple of days later on their computer. This case is impossible to track and will also result in a few percent deviation.
4. Time
We store our EANs (product codes) for one month. After this period of time, there will be now connection between our size recommendation and the purchase.
