Manage API accounts

The Online Sizing widget authenticates against our API using an API token and whitelisted domains. This guide shows you how to create an API account and how to obtain your API Token.

Create API account​

  1. Log in to Smartfit Analytics here using the email and password provided in the welcome email you received
  2. Then you need to navigate to the API Control section
  3. You should be redirected to the create formular of the API Control section
  4. Enter any name for the API account
  5. Finally, click on the Save button
  6. Obtain your API-key
  7. Write a message to onlinesizing@smartfit.bike to have the new API account activated.
tip

If you have multiple domains or language subpages (e.g. www.yourshop.com/de, www.yourshop.com/en) we recommend to use a separate API key for every domain. This is helpful if you want to use our Recommendation Engine and also allows you to get more specific analytics about your customers.
