How is a session counted at Smartfit?

Session start

A session starts the first time the user interacts with the widget (currently always when the user clicks on the button to open the widget for the first time)

Session end

A session currently ends after 30 days of inactivity. If a user renews the session within the 30 days, it is valid again for 30 days.

Session identification

A session is identified via a session ID which is stored in the browser “local storage” and sent back and forth between the browser and server. A session is only ever counted when it first occurs. So if a session exists over a change of month, it is not counted again in the following month.
